For 3rd Grade Only!
South Brunswick Community Education is offering Beginner Strings instruction for the following instruments:
Violin, Viola, Cello and Bass.
This beginner program will include weekly lessons throughout the school year,
starting in November and ending in late May/early June.
Each lesson will be 45 minutes in length.
Classes will meet in the Music Room of the school your child a ends.
Transportation is not provided.
Lessons will not be held when school is closed or if there is a delayed opening due to inclement weather. Inclement weather make-ups will be scheduled as needed by the music teacher.
Due to the limited number of spots available – 10 per class, this is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Instrument rental is the responsibility of the parent. As soon as you register, please rent the instrument, so your child will have it for the first lesson. Rental information is attached, however, you may rent from any company that you wish.
The book that will be used is Essential Elements for Strings with EEi. Please order the book specific to the instrument your child will play. Remember to explore all rental options to take advantage of the best rental rates.

BEFORE SCHOOL BEGINNER STRINGS REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Register Online with your School District Community Pass Account. Follow the directions below:
1. Go to: https://register.communitypass.net
2. Enter community: South Brunswick Public Schools, and hit the blue continue button.
3. Under Existing Users, log into your Community Pass account.
4. Choose the organization “South Brunswick Community Education” and hit the gold register button.
5. Then, choose the season “2019-2020 3rd Grade Before School Strings.”
6. Register your child and make payment with your MasterCard or Visa.
